RealNumberz Financial Freedom Accelerator Lesson 7: The WORST REASON EVER for Not Taking Control of Your Real Estate Investment Portfolio

Okay folks, in just a minute, I will tell you the absolute worst reason I ever heard for not taking control of a real estate portfolio, but first I want to say…

CONGRATULATIONS! You did it! You are now the proud and accomplished owner of a fully optimized real estate portfolio management system right there in your RealNumberz account. Even better, you have now finished the hardest part of taking control of your portfolio: TAKING CONTROL OF YOUR PORTFOLIO. Now that your assets are logged in the RealNumberz system, you will be able to not only monitor your existing assets, but you will be able to stress test potential investments, evaluate your current portfolio in light of “weak spots” where you might want to diversify, and always, always be on the lookout for anywhere you can optimize a strategy or increase a return.

And we haven’t even mentioned the RealNumberz rehab tracker, which keeps track of draws, monitors contractor progress, updates market statistics in real time, and prevents any bookkeeping errors that might create oversights in your fix-and-flip deals. If you have fix-and-flip or fix-and-hold deals logged into the system already, you have probably seen the value of that particular 60,000-foot view.

I know I’m pretty much preaching to the choir at this point, though, so I will give you what you really want to know…

Back to the Worst Reason Ever to Not Take Control of Your Portfolio

So, as I mentioned in my email, I recently heard what is absolutely the worst reason ever to not take control of your real estate investing portfolio. It literally made the hair on the back of my neck stand on end.

I always ask investors who do not already have a tracking or performance system in place for monitoring investment performance why they do not have one. In fact, the reason I created RealNumberz in the first place was because there simply was not a system out there that did the things real estate investors really need for this type of investment monitoring all on one platform!

Anyway, usually when I ask people why they do not know their returns or they do not have a system, they tell me that they did not know there was something like RealNumberz out there or that they didn’t realize they could get someone else to handle a lot of the “detail stuff” (that’s where those subaccounts come in!) for them. However, I recently heard one of the worst reasons ever for not tracking returns in a real estate portfolio, and I heard it from someone I have always respected as a really smart, really savvy investor.

He told me…

He did not want to update the information on his properties, so he would never want a system like RealNumberz.

That’s right. This guy does not even know what his properties are worth right now or how much rent he is charging his tenants. He does not know whether his contractors are on schedule, and he’s not particularly clear about whether they are meeting their budget.

Now, he’s been really fortunate so far. We’ve had a great market, and it’s been a great time to be in real estate. However, I would venture to say that if and when things get a little haywire (and I think you know what I’m talking about) it will not be a pleasant day for him because the boat will be leaking and he won’t even know where to look for the holes.

Final Thoughts and Next Steps

Now, I would be willing to bet (and bet big – in fact, I already have!) that if you are the sort of real estate investor who starts and completes an e-course titled “RealNumberz Financial Freedom Accelerator,” you are probably not the sort of real estate investor who is comfortable with “letting the chips fall where they may” when it comes to your retirement planning, your investment capital, and your financial security and freedom.

I’m so proud to be working with you, and I’m so honored that you have entrusted RealNumberz with optimizing your portfolio so that you can accelerate that path to financial freedom! Now, please, use this tool. Read our newsletters, watch our trainings, and feel free to take this ecourse over and over again.

It’s been a pleasure working with you this week, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you and your investments.
